Join Jeanie Manchester and Mike Cohen on Friday, January 1 noon - 2pm MT as we celebrate the long awaited crossing of the threshold into the new year. Through asana, chant, myth and inquiry, we will explore how to remove any obstacles to creating Awakened Compassion in the New Year! This fun and inspirational SACRED FLOW will deepen your personal practice and unfold your relationship with the goddesses Durga (Protection) and Lalita (Unconditional Love) in a way that is relevant and applicable to your life.

JEANIE MANCHESTER brings more than 30 years of dedicated practice, deep study, teaching and sharing onto the mat and into the world. An ERYT 500-hour certified yoga instructor, Jeanie’s inspiration and influence stems from a strong lineage of celebrated teachers, including Dr. Douglas Brooks, Sally Kempton, Richard Freeman, John Friend, Gabriella Giubilaro, and Paul Muller-Ortega. Jeanie’s own studies include the disciplines of Iyengar, Ashtanga, Anusara (certified) yoga, Neelakanta Meditation, and the Shri Vidya Goddess Wisdom of South India. With a background that weaves modern dance, yoga, meditation, storytelling and spiritual teaching into her work today, Jeanie brings a sense of true mastery that empowers her students toward physical and spiritual growth. With the Colorado mountains, husband and two children as daily inspiration With humor and joy, Jeanie brings a sense of lightness and depth into her teachings and work.

MIKE COHEN, founder of Kirtan Leader Institute, loves working with those who feel called to share Kirtan with others, and who possess big ambitions around personal development and contribution through Kirtan. Mike guides his students to build thriving chant communities, lead with power and grace, write compelling original music, tour, play at festivals, create albums and, along the way, transform who they are being in the world. Since 2010 Mike has trained and apprenticed hundreds of Kirtan Leaders across the globe. Mike released critically acclaimed albums in 2009 (Om Dattatreya) and 2012 (Soul Contact) and 2016 (Illumination: Soundtrack for the Satya Yuga). For over a decade Mike has shared Kirtan across North America, offering accessible and potent Kirtan events in yoga studios, healing centers and at yoga/chant festivals. Mike was honored to be invited to lead Kirtan immediately before the legendary Krishna Das at 2015 Bhakti Fest Midwest.
