THE POWER OF RITUAL: CELEBRATING LIGHT & DARK
Learn More About the Sacred Time of Navaratri.
As the days progressively descend into more darkness, the Holy days of Navaratri take place. Navaratri celebrates the 9 nights of the Goddess Durga in all of her forms: Three nights are dedicated to Durga/Kali, three nights for Lakshmi, and three nights for the Goddess Saraswati.
Now is the time to go inward to look at our shadows!
Navaratri is a ritual that helps us take a deeper look into our own dark places. On the spiritual path, we often forget that it's not all about chasing light! Instead, this time reminds us that the only way we can get to the light is by walking through our own darkness. In turn, we must come to a place of acceptance for our own shadow and the role of teacher it plays. Only then can we fully commit to our light. The engagement with the Goddess plays a crucial role in being supported in this process.
